About this program

Summer Skills Camp is designed to help players sharpen the core skills that translate to better performance on the ice. Players will work through a mix of skating, puck handling, shooting, passing, and game-situation drills in a fast-paced, positive environment.

Each session is built to keep players moving, challenged, and engaged while reinforcing strong habits and confidence. Whether players are looking to improve specific skills or simply get more quality reps during the offseason, this camp provides a focused and fun way to keep developing throughout the summer.

What to know

Please arrive 20–30 minutes before your scheduled start time to allow enough time for check-in and getting dressed.

Players should bring:

  • Full hockey equipment, including helmet, gloves, skates, stick, and protective gear

  • Water bottle

  • Extra stick, if available

  • Comfortable athletic clothes for any off-ice activities

  • Any medications or personal items they may need during camp

Check-in: Please check in with a Drift Hockey staff member when you arrive. Players should be fully dressed and ready to take the ice at the scheduled start time.

Parking: Free parking is available at the rink. Please allow a few extra minutes during busy rink hours.

During camp: Players will participate in a combination of skating, puck skills, shooting, small-area games, and other skill-development drills. Groups may be divided by age or ability to create the best training environment.

Please make sure all equipment is clearly labeled with the player's name. Drift Hockey is not responsible for lost or misplaced equipment.

If your player will be late, absent, or unable to attend, please contact us as soon as possible.
